A ROTEX is a returning Outbound student that becomes an important part of our program by joining our ROTEX club. Having spent a year aboard in the countries we exchange with, ROTEX teach us about the cultures in which they lived.
They help our program by working with the outbound students in preparing them for their exchange year, and helping with the inbound student. It is a way for them to continue to be invested in the program that gave them a life changing opportunity.
ROTEX also chaperone and sponsor events for the current inbound and prospective outbound students, including an annual ski weekend.
To become a ROTEX you must attend the Rebound Weekend that is held after you return from your exchange year and present on your exchange year to your sponsoring Rotary Club. Contact the current president by email if you are interested in getting involved with ROTEX.
